The world’s first automatic vertical beam saw keeps surprising the panel processing industry. Already at its introduction, the Advance²Quadra struck the panel world as it cuts to size panels from rough sizes into final end-products, while the operator can control the full process by only pressing one sole button.
Now for the most efficiënt use of panel materials, it is possible to calculate the subsequent saw cuts with the help of a software programme for the optimisation of the cutting pattern. Ardis optimizing software, developped especially for ELCON, is available for use with the Advance²Quadra, with which its 7-axis machine positioning is directly controlled for the most efficiënt saw pattern.
