ELCON introduces model D

Over the past summer period ELCON have added a new panel saw to their supply programm in various countries: model D. This new model is the most economical version from the range and offers a very attractive price/performance ratio.

Model D makes use of the same robust basic construction for the frame and the guidances as all other Elcon machines. This means that the guidance for the saw beam is based on a hardened steel round bar with dedicated bearings. Furthermore, the machines are equipped with a powerful 4 kW motor, extra cutting depth, entry and exit rollers on both sides and a repeat stop for the cutting of strips.

In the countries where this new model is already introduced, it is received very well and the first machines have been supplied meanwhile. This counts for six Western European countries, where especially in Germany one of the bigger DIY chain stores has chosen this model as their basic version.
No doubt that in the coming exhibition season other countries will follow this succesful example.
